Dear friends!
Well.. its been a long time in coming, but finally the Home has a place to call 'Home!'.. Last month after a few delays in settlement..... Lomani Au officially became the owner of a property in SavuSavu, Fijian Islands.

It is a real provision from the Lord.. something that only He could have brought about, in His way and HIS timing!
We are also excited tht a young woman has agreed to leave her nursing profession here in Australia, and head to Lomani Au in the next few months, to be our official 'Nurse' at the home. We are still waiting on the Lord to provide House parents but are still confident waiting on HIM and the couple HE chooses!
Paul, Bill, and Roger will head to Fiji next Monday morning the 14th June, and head over to Savusavu. they will only be there for a few days. Initial stages of the Home are fairly well laid out,but there is plenty more to do before we start accepting children in numbers. It is our hope that the home in its initial set up phase, will house mostly children under the age of 6 years, and no more than ten to fifteen children in the first couple of years. This has been capped to help with the many adjustments and lessons that we as a team will have to learn in this pioneer ministry. Your prayers would be appreciated as they go to view the property and make future plans as to what changes, buildings etc need to be built to equip the Home to work to its greatest potential.
If any of you have any questions.. please feel free to post them on here and I'd be happy to answer them (if I have any idea:)
Othewise, we'll keep you updated as to where too from here, and with some photos of the property etc after the men get back.
Your prayers would also be appreciate for Leonie our home Nurse as she makes plan to leave Australia in the coming months, apply for a Visa for Fiji, and as she adjusts to living in Fiji.
